FAQ
Commonly Asked Questions
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
My services are generally offered as Private Pay Only.

In the event that your insurance offers an "Out-of-Network" option for alternative/complimentary therapies, or "non-clinical" hypnotherapy, I'm happy to help with any required paperwork as needed.
WHAT IS...
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COACHING & THERAPY?
WILL ANY EQUIPMENT BE USED AS PART OF THE BREAKTHROUGH PROCESS?
No, unlike some therapeutic modalities, there is no equipment used. The breakthrough process is a holistic approach which engages your nervous system and subconscious mind via the power of language and spoken words only.

For remote clients, the only equipment needed will be a reliable internet and computer.
WHAT DOES HYPNOSIS FEEL LIKE?
It is a calming and mentally relaxed state. You are fully aware of everything happening via your environment and mental state, and you will have 100% conscious awareness at all times. There will be no use of Stage Hypnosis or anything of that extent.
WILL YOU MAKE ME DO SOMETHING WITH WHICH I AM NOT COMFORTABLE?
Of course not. Just like a relationship with a therapist or mentor of any sort, the coach-client relationship is one which will gently challenge you in areas which are meant to achieve results. Once a goal has been identified, it is the job of a coach to create an intervention plan to move you toward your goal, which may stretch you emotionally, mentally, and sometimes physically, in order to achieve a changed set of behaviors. Coaching is a "do-with-you" process, as opposed to a "do-to-you" or "do-for-you" process, therefore, everything that will be asked of you is with your permission and highest intention in mind. As such, a coaching agreement is completed as part of the coach-client relationship.
CAN I WORK WITH A THERAPIST AND A COACH AT THE SAME TIME?
Yes! If you are working with a therapist or other state-licensed professional, a consent form will first need to be authorized by your therapist.
